As our mission states, Centerspace aims to provide a great home for our residents, our team members, and our investors.  To support this mission, Centerspace expects team members to follow rules of conduct that will protect the interests and safety of all team members and the company.


It is not possible to list all the forms of behavior that are considered unacceptable in the workplace and while conducting business-related activities off Centerspace premises.  The following are some examples of infractions of rules of conduct that may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.  

  • Theft or inappropriate removal or possession of property
  • Falsification of records or documents
  • Misuse of company time
  • Working under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs
  • Failure or inability to perform job duties due to the misuse of illegal or prescription drugs or alcohol
  • Fighting or threatening any type of violence in the workplace
  • Insubordination or other disrespectful conduct
  • Sexual or other unlawful or unwelcome harassment
  • Excessive absenteeism or any absence without notice
  • Unauthorized use of telephones, mail system, or other employer-owned equipment, hardware, or software
  • Excessive socializing, including personal phone calls or texts
  • Unauthorized disclosure of business secrets or confidential information
  • Violation of company policies or rules
  • Failure to follow management directive
  • Unsatisfactory performance or conduct


Employment with Centerspace is at-will, and either party may terminate that relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without advance notice, except where prohibited by state law.
