Centerspace makes every effort to create and maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions within the company.
Job descriptions aid in orienting new team members to their jobs, identifying the requirements of each position, establishing hiring criteria, setting standards for performance evaluations, determining the applicable pay grade, and establishing a basis for making reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
The Talent & Culture department works with the hiring manager to prepare job descriptions when new positions are created. When reviewing and revising existing job descriptions, the Talent & Culture department will work with the leadership within the relevant department to ensure it is accurate and up to date. Job descriptions may be rewritten periodically to reflect changes in the position’s duties and responsibilities. All team members are expected to help ensure their job descriptions are accurate and reflective of the work being done.
Team members should remember that job descriptions do not necessarily cover every task or duty that may be assigned, and that additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Contact the Talent & Culture department if you have questions or concerns about your job description.
