Adding a Rentable Item and Rentable Item Concession at Renewal
This QRG reviews how to add a rentable item at the time of renewal. This process will typically be handled by the RAS to facilitate a successful renewal.
1. If the renewal batch/offer has been posted in CRM IQ, before you can add a new rentable item you must first delete the renewal offer either in Voyager or CRM IQ (see HERE for a QRG on this process).
2. In CRM IQ, add the rentable item to the resident's record with the future date (see HERE for a QRG on this process).
3. If the renewal batch/offer was deleted, on the Renewals dashboard, create and post a renewal batch for the resident's renewal (see HERE for a QRG on this process).
4. Select the renewal term and proceed to generate the lease. On step 2-Charges, select Add Special.
5. Click Select for the appropriate Special, followed by Save & Next.
6. Proceed to Finalize Lease for the resident to sign.
