QRG – CRM IQ – Online Document - Corporate Lease Occupant Changes


According to the Corporate Housing SOP, leases that a corporate entity is responsible for maintains their own screening and records for the occupants of the apartment.


The Corporate Lease Occupant Change Agreement must be generated and sent to the corporate entity to complete and sign electronically to update the occupant records with Centerspace. 

 

Corporate Lease Occupant Change Workflow

1. On the resident profile, navigate to Documents > Add Documents > RentCafe E-Sign from Library.

2. Click Select for the Corporate Lease Occupant Change Agreement.

3. Confirm the people who will need to sign the document. This should only list the Primary as the name of the business as the leaseholder. Click Save & Next.

4. Review the document preview. Click Send.

5. A pop-up will confirm that the document was sent for signing.

6. Document Tracking will show the status.

Document Dashboard > Additional Documents will also show the status.

7. After countersigning, in the resident profile > General > Roommates, update with the correct information, including First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email, and Move-In/Move-Out Dates. 

  • NOTE: The Relationship Status must be Other and the Lessee box should be blank. Click Save.
