QRG - CRM IQ - Evict Status
This QRG will walk through how to place a resident into evict status in CRM IQ.
Evict a Resident:
- Evicting a resident changes their status from current to eviction and updates the appropriate resident and resident history records.
- Residents will be able to access their portal but will remove their ability to make payments.
- Placing a resident on eviction will also change their unit’s status to available for leasing.
- You can cancel the eviction at any time before posting the move-out for a resident. The eviction is not finalized until you post the resident's move-out.
How To Complete the Process:
1. Open the record for the resident whose eviction you want to post.
Select General > Manage > Manage > Evict.
2. Enter Evict Date, Move-out Date, and Reason for Move-out, Click Evict.
- Note that the Move-out Date must be 60+ days from Evict Date to allow legal processing time.
- Charge the Early Termination Fee to the resident ledger at this time according to the Move Out Scenarios - Fee Outline
3. Review the "Overview" to now see the new status listing the resident in Eviction.
