QRG – CRM IQ – Resident Email Opt Out


In order to avoid compliance issues with email opt-outs, a resident that opts out of an email must opt back in themselves by going to their profile in their resident portal and editing their profile to allow emails. 


1. For a resident to opt out of emails from the property, they will need to first log into their resident account and under Manage My Account select Go to Settings.

2. Once the resident has logged into their account and accessed their account settings, they will need to select Edit under their account preferences.

3. From there, they will uncheck I agree to receive email notifications from [Property Name] and click Save.
