Tips & Tricks regarding the Application in Progress and Non-Approved Applicants tabs -

Application in Progress: Actions that can be completed from this tab include reviewing the Application Form step and posting charges.

  • Who appears here?
    • Customers who have started the application but are not yet in Applied status.
    • As of the latest update, this queue includes all records with at least one occupant whose application is incomplete.
  • What state are they in?
    • Application form not fully completed for at least one occupant (primary or roommate).
    • Charges and/or required steps may still be missing.
  • When do they move out of this tab?
    • Once the primary and all roommates have finished the application form and charges are posted, they move to Non-Approved Applicants.

Non-Approved Applicants: Actions that can be completed from this tab include running the screenings and evaluating the application

  • Who appears here?
    • Customers whose applications are complete and charges are posted, but they have not yet been approved or denied.
    • This includes records pending payment, verification of income, screening, or evaluation.
  • What state are they in?
    • They are ready for screening/approval work, but no final decision has been recorded.
  • When do they move out of this tab?
    • After the primary and all roommates have been approved, they move to Generate Lease.
    • If they are denied, they leave the Applicants list as a non‑approved decision.

Please note that there are multiple reasons that a slight delay can happen. Some of them are:

  • The application was submitted and the charges are posted but not updated in the system which can cause application to be removed from Application in Progress tab and as the charges are not updated it will not get pulled into the Non-Approved Applicants queue.
  • Please note that if the application is submitted and the application form for primary is not completed the applicant will not get pulled in the Non-Approved Applicants tab.
  • If the roommate application form is also not completed it will not get pulled into the Non-Approved Applicants tab.
