QRG - CRM IQ - Generating a Team Member Lease Agreement for a Blue Moon Lease
This QRG will cover how to add the Team Member concession to the Blue Moon lease.
1. From the profile of the Team Member you'd like to add the discount to, navigate to the Documents tab. Generate a new lease and under Rental Terms, confirm the details are accurate and select Next to proceed.
Note: if this discount is being added onto a currently existing lease, the current Lease Document will need to be regenerated. From there, you will be able to generate a new lease.
2. In the Charges section, select Edit Charges to open up the charges flyout and add the discount. In the Edit Charges flyout, select + Add/Edit Concessions.
3. Using the Concessions flyout, select the Team Member Discount concessions you'd like to add. If there are rentable items or pets, be sure to check that concession and enter the amount to be discounted from the charge(s). Use the Team Member Housing SOP to determine the amount to be discounted.
Once completed, select Save to save the discount.
You will then see the discount reflected on the Move In Charges and Recurring Charges list. If all details look accurate, select Save to save the discount and return to the Charges page.
4. The discount charges will now show on the Charges section. Be sure to write down the amount for the Total due at Move In (A) and the Team Member Discount (B). You will need to enter these details into the Lease Editor in the next step. Select Next to proceed.
5. In the Lease Editor section, you will need to fill out the following details to proceed with the lease. Once all steps below have been completed, select Next.
1. Under Lease Terms, fill in the Liquidated Damages
2. Under Cover Sheet, fill in Total Due at Move In found at the bottom of the page. This will be the amount from Step 4, A.
3. Under Other Charges, fill in the number of keys assigned to the apartment.
4. Under Team Housing, fill in the total amount of the Team Member Discount. This will be the amount from Step 4, B. Make sure this is the full amount including rentable items/animal discounts.
6. On the Manage Forms section, under the Available column, press the + button next to the Team Member Housing Addendum to have this form added into the lease. If added correctly, it will be moved into the Included column at the bottom. Select Save & Next to proceed.
7. Nothing will need to be completed on the Print Forms section. Select Next to continue.
8. The final step is Finalize Document. From this section, review the lease agreement to confirm all details are accurate. The the Team Member Addendum will be the last form in the lease agreement. If all information looks correct, select Finalize Lease to send the lease off for signatures.
