QRG - CRM IQ - Approve, Deny, or Cancel an Application

This article is going to cover how to approve, deny, or cancel an application after an applicant has been screened in CRM IQ. The decision will be based off of the recommendation from the screening page.


Approve:


1.Go to applicant guest card and from the profile, navigate to "Screening & Approvals" under the "Applicant Workflow" tab.


2. From here, you will review the screening results to confirm the decision of "Approve" is accurate. Be sure to look at all applicants and review if there are any screening flags in the screening results. If everything looks good, then navigate to the "Evaluate Application" tab. 


3. On this tab, you will see three options to evaluate the application, Approve, Deny, and Cancel. If the application is approved, select "Approve". This will bring up a pop up asking you to confirm, the date, the agent, and to charge the Earnest Money. Select "Yes" under "Charge Earnest Money" and then "Save" to approve the application. 


Deny:


1. Follow steps 1 and 2 on the section above, confirming that the denial is accurate and should stand.


2. Go to the "Evaluate Application" tab to submit the denial. To deny the application, select "Deny". This will prompt a pop up that will ask to confirm the date, agent, and the reason the application is being denied. Select "Save" to complete.


3. Once the denial has been submitted, the application will be moved into the "Denied" status.


Cancel:


1. If the applicant is not longer interested in moving forward with the application, the application will need to be cancelled. To do this, go to the "Screening & Approval" tab under the "Applicant Workflow" drop down.


2. From here, go to the "Evaluate Application" tab.


3. Once in this area, select the red "Cancel" button. This will bring up a pop up asking you to confirm the date, agent, and reason for cancelling the application. Fill this in completely and select "Save" to finish the process.
