QRG - CRM IQ - Setting Designations for Lessees/Keyholders
During the leasing process, it is important to set the correct designation or status as a lease holder . This can be completed through CRM IQ and the following walk through will show the process of how to complete setting these designations.
Applicant -
1. Go to applicant profile and choose "Roommates" from the lefthand tabs. Select the pencil icon under the "edit" label. That will open up the option to edit the applicant information.
2. From here, you will be able to go to the "Relationship" drop down, you will be able to select from a list of potential designations. The following options are available, Roommate, Guarantor, Spouse, and Other. Once the proper designation has been selected, select "Save" in the lower righthand corner to lock in any changes.
Note: Roommates and Spouses are going to be listed as "Lessees" as they are leaseholders.

Note: Guarantors and Others are not Lessees, so the box should be unchecked.

Resident -
1. Go to resident profile and choose "Roommates" from the lefthand tabs. This will be listed under the "General" dropdown. Select the edit button next to the name of the guest you'd like to make changes to. That will redirect you to that guest's profile, and from there, you will be able to update the designation.
2. Now in the profile, you will scroll down to to the "Relationship" drop down. This drop down has a list of potential designations to choose from. The following options are available, Roommate, Guarantor, Spouse, and Other. Once the proper designation has been selected, select "Save" in the lower righthand corner to lock in any changes.

| Roommate | Someone who is listed on the lease as a leaseholder that is not legally married to the head of household. |
| Spouse | Someone who is listed on the lease as a leaseholder that is legally married to the head of household and will be filing taxes as a spouse. |

Someone who is co-applying alongside the applicant to help with income qualification. These folks are not lease holders, but are financially bound to the contract. |
| Other | Someone who legally a minor -- under the age of 18. |
