QRG - CRM IQ - Manually Changing a Prospect to an Applicant
This article will cover the process of manually taking a a guest from the prospect status to the applicant status.
1. Go to the prospect's guest card, starting on the profile page. Confirm the full name and contact information is accurate. If everything looks correct, then press "Save & Continue" to move forward.
2. Next, if there are roommates, confirm the roommate information is accurate. If there is not a roommate, then you can move forward. Hit "Save & Continue" to move to the next step.
3. The next step is "Select Units". Select the preferences and the unit you'd like to assign to this prospect card. Once the unit is assigned select "Continue".
4. First, confirm all details under the "Rental Terms" tab is accurate. If pricing, lease terms, and quoted rent looks correct, press "Save". Once the page has been saved, select the "Applicant Workflow" dropdown and choose "Application Form" from the list.
5. On the Application Form tab, fill out all relevant information on the application that would be needed for the screening. Once all information is filled out, select "Save & Continue".
6. Finally, under the "All Charges", select "Save & Post" to move the guest card from "Prospect" to "Applicant" status. You will know this has been completed once the yellow "Prospect" bubble turns into a red "Applicant bubble.
