To lock a single account on a revision:

 

1. From the top menu, select Dashboards > Forecasting.

2. Click the property for which you want to add a budget configuration.  The Property Budgeting screen appears. 

3. In the Budget Year field, select the year.

4. Open the revision or section.

5. Click the account that you want to lock. The Budget Details screen appears.
 
 

 
 

6. Click the Lock Account button.

 

To lock multiple accounts on a revision:

1. Open the revision or section.

2. On the Actions menu  next to the revision, click Lock Accounts. The Lock Accounts screen appears.  



3. If you want to lock accounts within the total accounts from an account tree:

  1. Click the Select Accounts From Tree button.  The Populate Accounts from a Tree screen appears. 


 b. In the Select a Tree, select the account tree.  The total accounts in the tree appear in a grid below.

 
 

c. Select the total accounts in the tree that you lock.  If you select a parent account, all child accounts are also selected. 

d. Click Save.  The individual accounts within the selected accounts appear in the Current Mapped Accounts section.  

4. If you want to lock accounts within a specific range:

a. Click the Select Accounts From Range button.  The Populate Accounts from a Range screen appears.   



b. Select the range of accounts that you want to map to the calculation, and then click Save.  The accounts within the range appear in the Current Mapped Accounts section.  

 

To unlock an account on a revision:

1. Open the revision or section.

2. Click the account that you want to lock.  A lock icon appears next to any locked accounts.  The Budget Details screen appears. 

3. Click the Unlock Account button.
