To add a narrative to an account on a revision:
1. From the top menu, select Dashboards > Forecasting.
2. Click the property for which you want to add a budget configuration. The Property Budgeting screen appears.
3. In the Budget Year field, select the year.
4. Open the budget configuration.
5. Click the Revisions tab.
6. Click the revision.
7. Click the account for which you want to view details. The Budget Details screen appears.
8. Click the Narratives tab.
9. Click the Add Narrative button. New fields appear.
10. Complete the fields.

Type – Types include Budget, Action Item, Variance, Variance YTD.
- If type is Action Item, item can be set as resolved with resolution notes.
- Month – Input Month for which this note applies.
- Notes
11. Click Save.
To resolve an Action Item type Narrative:
1. Locate and click on the red Action Item type Narrative icon within the budget line item.
2. Click on the Narrative within the pop up window.
3. Check the Resolved box and input a Resolution Note.
4. Click Save.
