This article explains how to enter in a phone number or email that you can use to reset your password if you forget it or are locked out of your account.


If you haven't already, use the link here to sign in to the Support Center for the first time. If more information is required, you'll be prompted to refer back to this article.



Step 1 - Click Next when prompted to provide More information


 





Step 2- Enter your phone number and choose to get a text or a call. You can also click on I want to set up a different method if you would like to use an alternate email address.


 




Step 3 - Enter the code that you received from Microsoft.







Step 4 - Your phone number or email address has been registered. Click on Next.



 




Step 5 - Your security information has been set up. Click on Done to proceed to your account.
